Bag End is a home of comfort. It is a place to begin a story, and a place to return to once the journey has ended. It is warm, safe, and full of surprises. Now the key to all of that is yours. During the production of The Lord of the Rings, Weta Workshop was tasked with helping to build up the very foundations of how Middle-earth was to appear on screen. From the largest of towers to the smallest of Hobbit holes, countless sketches were made detailing every aspect, and although not every concept saw its way onto the big screen, each piece played an important role in exploring the world it belonged to. For the very first time, Weta Workshop is proud to have the opportunity to bring a piece of Middle earth to life, that until now only existed on paper: The Key to Bag End.
